5 Feel Good Plant-based Recipes

We know its been a whirlwind year and we are definitely with you on that rollercoaster of ups and down and spinning around. Some days you just don’t know what to do with yourself, but eating healthily can change everything and its something to keep your mind busy! Our happy, healthy recipes are all about detoxing the body, boosting your immune system and filling your body with goodness. You get out what you put in, right?!

Buddha Bowl 
 1 Sweet Potato 
1/2 Onion
1 Red Pepper 
Red Beans
1 Beetroot
1 Grated Carrot
Whole Grain Rice

Roast the onion, sweet potato and red pepper tossed in olive oil and your favourite spices until soft. Add beans, cooked rice, raw carrot and chopped beetroot to a bowl and then add the roasted veg. Optional to add salad and fresh tomatoes. 

Beetroot Detox Juice

1 beetroot
1 lemon 
ginger powder or fresh ginger 


Peel your beetroot add, grate it or toss it in your juicer, squeeze a lemon and add ginger at your taste. Optional to add a handful of blueberries. Beetroot has great benefits on blood pressure, can improve exercise performance, support brain health and work as a great antioxidant. 


Carrot & Ginger Immune Boosting Juice 

Ingredients:

1 Washed and Peeled Raw Carrot

1 tbsp / 1 inch of Fresh Ginger

1 Juicy Orange 

Blend together in a blender or juicer and add water if necessary. This is a great vitamin C booster to enjoy in the morning to wake up and feel great!

Lemon and Hot Water 

1 squeezed lemon
1 cup of warm water 

A simple and effective habit to add to your morning routine. Drinking warm water lemon first thing in the morning is great for your body: to prepare and cleanse your digestive system, to balance your Ph, boost your immune system, eliminates toxins,  improve skin and so much more !

Baked Sweet Potatoes Fries

Sweet potatoes 
Salt
Rosemary
Olive Oil

Clean the potatoes and slice them. Put the potatoes in a bowl with Olive Oil, Salt and Rosemary. Mix them and place them on your dish with some greaseproof paper or aluminium. Pre heat your oven and bake for 20 min at 200°.
