Welcome to the Yoga for Bikers series! This 6 class series is a specially designed program to help improve your riding performance by increasing strength, stamina and flexibility. This first class focuses on releasing your fascia, which is a thin layer of connective tissue that surrounds your muscles, organs and bones around your body. You might notice after a long bike ride that your muscles feel tight and this is most likely your fascia. Fascia can become tight and lead to loss of mobility, pain and stiffness. By keeping your fascia healthy you can improve your range of motion and reduce physical pain on and off the bike. This class is here to bring your body a full range of motion. When cycling you tend to stay in one position for long periods of time so moving your body before your after riding is important.
